About Guardian Safety Group

Brandon Ynclan is a United States Army veteran, law enforcement detective, and threat mitigation expert with over 20 years of experience protecting communities and investigating high-risk incidents. He began his service by joining the Army following the events of September 11, 2001, and deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. That experience laid the foundation for his expertise in risk assessment, operational readiness, and decision-making under pressure.

Following his military service, Brandon built a distinguished career in law enforcement, serving as a police detective specializing in criminal threat investigations. He currently works in a specialized role investigating threats involving schools, critical infrastructure, businesses, and targeted violence against individuals—focused on identifying and disrupting potential acts of violence before they occur.

Since 2019, Brandon has been assigned to the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force, conducting investigations at both the state and federal levels. His work has provided him with a deep understanding of behavioral indicators, threat patterns, and the pathway to targeted violence.

In addition to his investigative work, Brandon brings extensive experience in protective operations and large scale event threat mitigation. He has worked alongside the United States Secret Service supporting presidential visits and other high-level operations, serving in both protective roles and as a threat investigator responsible for identifying and mitigating risks to multiple United States Presidents and other senior government officials over the years.

His experience also includes threat mitigation at major events such as Major League Baseball games, the MLB World Series, NBA and WNBA games, NCAA Final Four tournaments, the Waste Management Phoenix Open, and other large-scale entertainment venues. These assignments have strengthened his ability to assess dynamic environments, identify vulnerabilities, and manage risk in real time.

Brandon founded Guardian Safety Group after recognizing a critical gap between law enforcement capabilities and the growing need for proactive threat awareness within the community. While law enforcement agencies provide valuable training and resources, their responsibilities and operational demands often limit the level of ongoing support they can offer. 

Drawing on his experience, Brandon created Guardian Safety Group to deliver a higher level of focused, proactive training that helps organizations identify risks early and strengthen their overall preparedness.
